I
join the Department of Geography at UTM as a Remote Sensing assistant
professor as of July 1, 2009. My research has focused on the
use
of remote sensing techniques, spatial analysis, climate data, and
ecosystem
modelling in studies of natural or managed systems (grassland, forest,
wetland,
and agriculture), and on the linkages
between
observed changes and environmental and anthropogenic driving factors
(e.g.
climate, topography, grazing, and oil and gas exploration) at multiple
spatial
and temporal scales. Much of this work has been interdisciplinary,
innovative,
and collaborative in its nature.
Please check out
my research and teaching pages and feel free to contact
me with
questions. I am currently accepting graduate students.
